At 5:38 PM, Baden Volunteers were dispatched for a motor vehicle collision with the vehicle on fire and injured occupants. A836, ET836, Chief 36, and Chief 36A responded and found a single vehicle that ran off the road injuring all 4 passengers and was on fire. The ambulance crew started triage of the patients and began patient care while the Pumper-Tanker crew began extinguishing the car fire. It was deemed two occupants needed immediate medical attention so command requested Trooper 2 to fly the patients out. The ambulance crew packaged the two patients while Medic 45 performed their assessment and finally transferred care to Trooper 2. Command requested Engine 840 to control the landing zone. After Trooper 2 lifted off, Ambulance 836 transported the other 2 patients to an area hospital.
