| At 1147 hours, Baden was alerted to respond along with several other companies from Charles, St. Marys, Calvert, and Prince Georges County to Glock Place in Hughesville MD, for the shed fire. The Pumper-Tanker responded with 4 personnel, and once on scene the crew went to work and the Pumper-Tanker went into the tanker shuttle to get water to the fire scene. Again showing the advantages of operating a Pumper-Tanker. Prior to the crew from Baden arriving there was a large explosion on the scene. Check out the video to see the hazards that firefighters face to protect life and property. Luckily, no personnel were injured in this explosion. |
