Brush Fire

At 2:46 PM Brush 36 responded to Woodville Road and Kayak Drive for a reported brush fire. Today was a dangerous day for brush fires with recent high winds drying out the grass and leaves along with high winds today causes for fast fire spread. Brush 36 arrived to find a tree that fell onto power lines causing a brush fire involving an area about 1/4 acre. Brush 36 along with Brush 2 and Tanker 2 extinguished the fire before it got out of contorl
