While returning from an accident at Branch Avenue and Brandywine Road E836B was alerted to respond to the 12700 block of Branch Avenue for an Automatic Fire Alarm. Typically these calls are false alarms but also could be early detection of an actual issue. Upon arrival there was nothing evident at a small commercial strip mall. During investigation, light smoke was found through out the building. It was determined to be a malfunction in an appliance, so the crews evacuated the smoke from the structure and returned to service.
